Consume Wisely.
Live Abundantly.

Founder’s Dream

My idea for Prolific was born from a dream, an age where the world would have abundant nature and humans are living at one in peace with advanced technology and innovation - a vision similar to the Avatar world.

From this my dream the Prolific vision developed. After 25 years of working in corporate I moved into not for profit; first social impact and then environment. I have witnessed so many amazing sustainability solutions and the eagerness and passion of many. This is gaining momentum every day. We need a sustainable solution for the Planet’s Future within the next 10 years.

Prolific’s focus is on mindful consumption. Currently there is a huge gap in people understanding what an impact mindful consumption can have on, not only their personal freedom, but on the nature. I believe, if developed countries (countries the consume at a rate greater than their natural resources can regenerate) curtail their consumption by 36%*, climate change will be mitigated.

Think about it, consumption is the driver of everything. Less consumption, less manufacturing, production, requirement for energy, less transport, the list goes on and on. Simply by reducing our consumption. We don’t need all this ‘stuff’ and it is making us more and more miserable. ‘Simple’ gives us freedom and joy. Here is where individual behaviour change can make a huge difference! If there is no demand, organisations will be forced to provide more sustainable options.

“By embracing a more mindful approach to consumption, each individual has the power to contribute significantly to their own personal freedom and the well-being of our planet. This involves re-evaluating our choices, reducing unnecessary consumption, and making decisions that prioritise our own personal freedom, which will give us more time to heal and a deeper connection to purpose."

  • CEO 20 years, increased turnover from $3mill to $300mill, 2000 plus employees.

  • CEO, not for profit, social outcome organisation, doubled bottom line during the two years of covid.

  • Chair, Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation, balancing the protection of nature with the impact of people and economy

“Biosphere reserves help communities to make good decisions about resource use and conservation by supporting the study and monitoring of natural systems,” Emeritus Professor Ian Lowe, Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation.

I came from a strong hospitality management background and began my career with an international facilities management organisation in marketing at the same time as being diagnosed with a terminal illness. I decided that I wanted to live, not die, and working would give me purpose. Obviously, I am still here to talk about it. After 12 months I was promoted to the head of marketing role.

Within five years I was appointed CEO. During this tenure, the company experienced vast growth (in excess of 2000 employees), in some years experiencing triple-digit growth percentages, in revenue, profit and employee numbers. Following 20 years with the organisation, it was purchased by one of the global leaders in facilities management.

After a successful corporate career, and a pressing desire to serve humanity and our planet, a new chapter in my story began when I was appointed as the Australian CEO and the international Director of Strategy of a non-profit INGO renowned for its success in the fight against child trafficking and sexual exploitation. We delivered significant increases in income and contribution margin during the Covid period, setting the organisation up financially to expand its reach into several new countries.

After leaving the social impact charity I travelled with my husband, also working in an advisory and business coach capacity. I was also on the board of Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation (NBRF) as an Advisor.

Within 6 months of appointment as an Advisor I was elected Chair of the NBRF.  The NBRF ensures our biosphere reserve status is maintained and enhanced, managing and funding a number of projects that balance the protection of nature with the impact of people and economy.

We envision a world where nature thrives alongside human activity.
